When LA singer-songwriter, Brad Colerick, signed on to host eight Wednesday night events in 2009, he had no idea what was in store. Word spread quickly about the great songs and stories being shared, and the impromptu performances from surprise guests each week. It quickly “bubbled into an inviting community hub for musicians, songwriters, wine-geeks and [music fans.…]” wrote Bliss Bowen of the Pasadena Weekly. Fifteen years, multiple venues, and a pandemic later, it's still going strong.

The afternoon includes readings and music by members of the Slow Lightning Lit community, poets included in WOR(L)D MATTERS, and SURPRISE GUESTS from the audience. Bring a poem and put your name in the hat to be part of the festivities.
